First game against the Flames for all of a week now, except this one is at home so the stakes are higher... A loss is going to drop us down to 4th with Blaze right on our tails but another win would move us above the Giants with a game or two in hand!

Last game between the two teams we won 4-5, away at the Spectrum and it seems that we played a bit better... so hopefully we can pick up another win, no matter how in this game!

Whatever the result, as long as it's at least entertaining and we put up a fight that would be a better result!

I thought there were a couple of soft calls on the devils in the first. Pete Russell and Mosey certainly weren’t happy and had a few words with the refs. I think we’ll be expecting a couple of PP’s in the 2nd to even things up.

Little bit surprised by the lack of fight from Guildford tonight.

Very good performance from the Devils. Finding the right pass and shooting when it’s there (most of the time).

Not expecting too much after going 4-0 up, so not overly surprised it’s somewhat calmed down.

More good news that we don’t seem to be giving up loads of rubbish goals when we have a big lead. All in all a decent Saturday night.

I thought that was an excellent shut out by Bownsy. We weren’t under siege but that was far from a straightforward shut out. He had to make some crucial saves throughout
