That was a very good period. Not a huge amounts of hitting, but at that pace I'm not surprised. I do find our pp frustrating though. It'd be nice if we had an alternative to looking for the weak side one timer from coughler or Reid.

Watching via the webcast and that has to be one of the best 1st periods from two very evenly matched teams so far. Was riveted from start to end

Sheffield seemed to be outmuscling the Devils in P2. We need to make those powerplays count. The guys need to up the pressure in P3.

Well for the second half of that period the devils were dreadful. To be honest I think we're being out coached. The Steelers have shut down our movement and we seem to be reduced to long stretch passes and throwing the puck at the net and hoping fort the best.

You'd really think that with all of our coaching staff one off them would have some ideas about running a pp.

Devils seemed to drop after Sheffield equalised and they were on the ropes after going behind. Sheffield getting all the 50/50 pucks at the moment. We need to come out hard P3.
