Storm visit the Bay on Friday night for a challenge cup match up. They both met last week in Manchester where Devils came out the winner with a comfortable 1-5 scoreline. Devils will be looking to keep their CC run going sitting second to Nottinghams first, albeit with Nottingham having played twice as many games.

20 players on gamesheet. With 3 imports out injured.. gonna be a massive headache for PR when there's 23 players available..nice to have that many for a change.
Good problem to have mind. :) I think some one alluded to it before, but there are often players playing with niggling injuries that can then progress. In this situation we have the opportunity to get some good recovery in place when that crops up, especially when the fixtures start to get congested! Agree though, def a headache when all fit! ;)

How many times is Ullet going to be allowed to target barrow? Surely Russell now sees he needs to let Macwilliam or Gourley throw hands at that prolapsed gonad or at the very least have the pair of them flatten him with an open ice hit.

Even if the first 3 goals against never happened (definitely not for the game highlights reel), the Devils would still have had a tough time against the Storm tonight.

Despite Devils clawing back to square the game, going in to overtime serving a penalty kill is destined to end any advantage.

Storm look like a younger, energetic team who breakout fast from the zone and recycle/pass the puck quickly. Weninger, their goalie, also on form tonight.

Time to push the button on a bit of offence from our d corps?

Donaghey - best one timer from the blue line last season. Haven't seen much of that so far.

Fournier - best puck carrying player in the league with exceptional skating ability.

These guys can score goals in key situations. Time to let them loose when that's needed.
