Former Eagle forward Stephen Dixon has announced his retirement. A WJC gold medalist for Team Canada and former Eagles captain, he played over 1100 professional games, including 240 AHL games, and winning a league championship in the top Finnish league. Congratulations!

Rumour was that he is scouting for an NHL organisation now. No idea if that's true or not. Shame to lose him from these shores if so.

Very low... He confirmed on the 2 Ales Podcast that he was looking forward to staying close to home for a change.
