just seen these on the Eilte web site, as any ever been of is this a new thing that there doing ??

No i believe he means the Playoff award dinner and after playoff party.
They have done a 'man of ice' awards before the playoff weekend on the fridya, but it had been a league invite only, they have invited the fans to buy tickets for the event this year however. This is the first year they have had an organised after playoff party.

Ah thanks , although dont know how much of a party it will be the team that wins normally cant wait to go home and celebrate , when Newcastle won Mr Payette invited myself the husband and son and wife back to their hotel to the most boring party ever, we laughed that the Devils would have been swinging from the lamp shades if they had won
