Evening all.

Firstly, thanks to the Mods for allowing me to post this, it's very much appreciated.

I (and several other Devils folk) have a friend, Anthony Hard, who has been diagnosed with terminal Brain cancer. We thought he had beaten this vicious tumour but recently we learned he has sadly been given just 3-6 months as a prognosis.

Ant is ex RAF and we met him through the Devils when he brought the RAF on board as a sponsor. He’s a fantastic guy and we have set up a fundraising campaign to help the family in his time left and beyond as he and his wife also have a young son who, as you will see from the links below, is severely disabled and faces more challenges than any young boy should. They also have a beautiful daughter, Reagan who loves her brother and is a special young lady.

The info on him is below.

We will be hosting a night of music and fun at Rodney Parade in Newport (Ant is a Newport man) and details will be revealed of that in the next few days but in the meantime if you could follow us on twitter, find us on facebook, offer any support, donate if possible - or even just tell a friend about the cause we would be hugely grateful.

Due to the generosity of a friend of the family and many others, they are renewing their wedding vows this week which will be a fantastic occasion.

This guy has helped our Club, and remains as positive and upbeat as ever. If you can in any way at all help us out we really would appreciate it.

This is the fund and the basic information:

Here’s the story the Daily Mail did on him a while back

And the latest piece from Walesonline:

The twitter account is @Hardasnails2015, and facebook is here:

Any and all support is gratefully received to swell the coffers for a great guy.

Thanks guys

Sully

We've had a huge progression in helping the Hard family.

The Pure Kitchen, a business the Devils know well (and most of the boys visit regularly) have offered to cook and deliver meals for the Hard family. It's an amazing piece of kindness as it gives them the most precious thing of all: time to spend together.

If you can please read the info, like their facebook page, and maybe pop in for a meal. The food is delicious!
