Hotels near Clan Arena

Hi,

looking at the fixtures can anyone recommend any Premier Inns (easy to cancel!) near Clan Arena?
There seem to be a few but i've never been to Braehead and wondered which is best location?

The Travelodge is behind the arena otherwise it would be in the city centre.

As Ger said Travelodge is a good bet as literally at the arena which is in a huge shopping complex out of the city centre.That said a taxi into town is way cheaper than in Cardiff and only about 8 quid into Glasgow.

i think its the number 26 bus from Glasgow city centre goes out to the arena.then stay in town.better choice for a meal etc before or after the game,plus once in the town you can walk to the bus or train station to get back to sunny cardiff.the travelodge is nicely situated in town.its not on the main drag but the street behind so its quiet and clean there.hope this helps.gav

although it is possible to do the trip on public transport and NOT book a hotel.a very tiring but money saving way to do it-or to get back to cardiff in time for the sunday game for example!

Guys the Travel Lodge is your best bet, as for eating your spoilt for choice at the Xscape which is right next to Braehead Mall/Arena.
