Jersey

Thread starter #1
Morning all,

Has anyone received their jersey for this season? I assume stitched jerseys are taking longer than the printed ones. Granted my order is still within the specified 6 weeks period (albeit 3 days left to go), but normally they've arrived a bit sooner than this?

Thanks

Partners not had hers yet, in the 6th week now for a sublimated. Am waiting on the season ticket jersey to release to see if i want to order that one or regular but looking like I'll not have one either way before the all team signing event at the end of october if wait times stay the same which is a shame

Thanks for the replies. It must be most/all of the orders then.

Last season mine was delivered on the day of the first home pre-season game which was nice. I was hoping this year's would delivered for at least the first home game of the regular season, but no.

Wasn't it the same problem last season and the supplier abroad couldn't meet the demand ..think it was a company abroad in Europe...maybe mistaken.

The jersey supplier this season is different I believe. Since the BBT they have been shipped from a company in Pakistan (it might have said CCM on there but they were just a sponsor they didn’t actually make the jerseys).

Previous supplier was from Slovakia, not sure about this seasons but I do know they're having issues getting large orders filled for challenge cup jerseys

Maybe last season, but every season before has been Pakistan. The owners of the company came over to IAW 2ish years ago and they produced them for a long time and all merchandise. Belfast and Nottingham had the same supplier.

I was having my feet attended to last year in Cardiff and in conversation the person said her mother stitches numbers onto Devils shirts!
Not quite sure where that fits into the equation!

Always used to be the case with CH sports that they came from Pakistan. I assumed that changed when we started to use Warrior jerseys ?

Regardless of where they are from, they probably cost no more than 75p to manufacture! Shocking markup on all sporting jerseys these days - that’s one area the government should look into!

Since we went away from CHSports and they were sublimated it's been a Slovakian company (probably the last 4 or 5 seasons https://www.cardiffdevils.com/archive/2019-summit-roundup/), the Junior Devils have been using the same company. The jerseys we have had for the last couple of seasons are shipped from the German branch of Warrior.

If you think the Devils are paying Warrior prices of jerseys made in Europe you’re a crazy man. Bayside used the same supplier in Pakistan as CH - it’s the same bloke after all .

They have all the designs and videos of them being made on their social media pages. The ones in that summit are different supplier to the ones. The company in Pakistan also have pictures on their social media of them doing deals with CCM UK to use their branding and pictures of them making last seasons jersey. A new rec team in Cardiff also used them if you want a hint to who made them.

The junior Devils still use the same Slovakian production company that the Devils were using post CH Sports and pre Warrior. Pretty sure all the replica's say 'made in Slovakia' on the inside of the jersey (https://a4ka.sk/).
