Line Combinations?

Hey guys, So now that we have signed the majority of the roster, What do people think the line combinations for the season will be?

Line one will stay the same!
Then it could go anyways as the next 6 players are all really good.

Lord Martin morrisette
Salters Kurka doucet
Walton hadad hervato

That's my prediction.

I keep seeing people putting Haddad on the third line and thinking how ridiculous that is.
Then I realise that if he's not, then Salters is. Which is even more ridiculous!! :lol:

The key for me will be getting the best out of Walton. Despite him finishing as our top goalscorer last season I still think we haven't seen the best of him.

Here's my pop

Martin - Lord - Morissette (if it's not broke and all that)
Salters - Kurka - Doucet
Haddad - Hervato - Walton

Kurka is listed as a winger according to eliteprospects but I'm guessing a player of his calibre can play any forward position. Steve did mention signing a 2nd and third line centre a few days ago as well so that's my stab at it.

I think with 2 hard workers alongside him Walton would flourish. I felt at times he played like he thought he didn't have faith in his line and shot when a pass was a better option. You want your forwards hungry for goals but if he's got them 2 guys battling for pucks all night he should get lots of chances.

Pretty sure when Kurka signed last time it was said he could play either role and played mostly as a centre. He certainly took face offs anyway.

I believe as finny said he took the majority of face offs on one side which i believe was r/h in attacking zone. I can remember having a conversation about how strange it was seeing someone share faceoff duties
