"On 24 November 2007, he tested positive to cannabis during a game in Reims. It gets a four-month suspension by the French Agency for the fight against doping. He misses the start of the season in Ligue Magnus.

It bounces in line with Central Hockey League (where its suspension is not enforced) with the Arizona Sundogs and the Tulsa Oilers.."

I feel sorry for the guy. He hasn't even landed yet and the Panther fans reaction is 'underwhelming' at best, 'knives are out' at worst! :x
Sounds like they were hoping for a big name signing or someone with completely superb stats.

It seems he's signed on the recommendation of other Panthers - some look to have played alongside him. Maybe he's on the 'developing' radar. Be really interesting to see.

Considering the Panthers fans were hoping for their last couple of signings to be 2 superstars, no wonder they're disappointed by this signing.

Maybe the club has pooled its remaining resources to secure David-Alexandre Beauregard...if the rumours over the past weeks are true!
