Pascal Morency Steelers tough guy has left the club with immediate effect, with health issues being the reason given, Pascal has had a few Concussions and it's in the best interest of both parties to part. Good player, big loss and with the Signing of Giants Westgarth, expect Steelers to sign a Big tough guy.

He has announced his retirement too. That's a massive shame. It's never nice at all to see a player retire on a doctors terms rather than their own. Feel sorry for the guy, he didn't have much luck this year.

And to make it worse Steelers will probably get their NHL star now as the arms race starts!

Steelers, Giants and Panthers will be up there at the end of the season with or without former NHL players and heavyweights...they are all top teams.

But its great dreaming that Craig Weller would come out of semi/retirement just for one more season with us! Just imagine the impact.

Sorry to see Morency retire under these circumstances. A good player. The Vother and Dan Lacosta retired early through career ending injuries.

The fight and hit from Hendrikx obviously was the first occasion then in his first game back against Edinburgh he got hit from behind and put out again.

He's had a lot of problems in the past I believe. Some incident fracturing his skull in his bathroom as bizarre as it sounds.

Where has that rumour circulated from? He would be head and shoulders above any player in league by a country mile!

This is a bold statement but if we had a guy like him we would pretty much clean up with the strength and depth we have. Only Belfast would stand in our way IMO ......all dreams though

There are numerous other guys of this stature available still looking at elite prospects. I guess steelers and Nottingham will be in for one each.

IMO Braehead are the team to beat this year. Easier conference, and they are as good as any erhardt team.

Matt Kassian is looking a new team after leaving his AHL side this week. Another Elite bound Heavyweight possible. http://dropyourgloves.com/Fights/FightC ... layer=7748
