Ice Hockey: Young Devils strike gold in Hull Arena

FIVE Cardiff Devils ice hockey juniors struck gold at the South West Conference finals weekend.
Owen Bradshaw (under-11), Owen Griffiths, Jack Randall, Callum Buglass and Tom Parkinson (all under-13) hit form at the Hull Arena.
Bradshaw, a key member of the Cardiff Devils under-12s, helped his Conference team win the title beating the Midlands 5-1 in the final.
En-route to the final the South West under-11s beat North Conference 2-0, Scotland 6-3 and earned 2-2 draws against the South East and Midlands.
South West under-13s played Midlands in their final and won 1-0 to take the title.
On their way to the final the under-13 defeated the South East Conference 2-0, Northern Conference 7-0, Scotland 3-0 and and suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Midlands in the group stages.
All five players had a great weekend and did the South West and the Cardiff Junior Devils extremely proud.
