Why can't we sign a temporary goalie while we have injuries

As per title thread. I'm worried that it is too much on Bownsey. Haven't other clubs signed replacements during injuries?

I mentioned that when carruth got injured. If bowns picked up an injury yesterday we are running with 1 or 2 backups from lower leagues ..not ideal is it .

We can (and might already have done so) put Carruth on Injured Reserve which means we can bring in a temporary replacement without impacting on the number of players we can sign. The problem of course is finding someone of the standard of Bowns.

tbh as long as Bowns is fit and healthy I'm not worried, he has been stellar so far when I have seen him and he is used to playing the majority of the games so ......... I guess the club will look at how long Carruth is out for and who they can get in and make a decision based on that

Looking at his stats I'm guessing he's moved to the UK not as a pro hockey player and just emigrated, I don't think Latvian and Lithuanian leagues are pro but may be wrong.

I would expect that our Ukrainian goalie is it - end of the line till Carruth is fit. Let’s hope he gets a chance by doing say the last period if we are comfortably in front.
