High Flying Cardiff NIHL Devils welcome Milton Keynes Thunder this Saturday 20th October 7pm to the BBT.

MK are always a hard working team and are known to cause more than a few upsets in a season. Although regularly one of the bottom half of the table teams they can never be under-estimated and this season sees them with arguably their best squad in recent years. The addition of the old pro Dwayne (Dog) Newman on D to add to the experience of Simon Howard and Greg Randall and now brother Jamie too, who all have extensive EPL career experience. Quality NM Mark Woolf is back this season after some time off and with giant David Cassidy backing him up they are not short of goalie skill either. Thunder are a relatively young team after that with the Goode brothers leading from the front and speedsters Michael Whitlock and Tom Mboya adding lots of pace.

The NIHL Devils will have to be on top form again to take any points from this game, but after another 3 pt weekend including a 3-0 drubbing of league favourites Chelmsford on Saturday in front of the largest crowd of the year so far, confidence and belief is growing by the day. A gritty performance Sunday saw the Devils come back from 3-1 down on the road in Streatham with only a minute to play, goals scored at 50 seconds and 29 seconds remaining secured the point with the goalie pulled both times. They are currently sitting in 3rd place and only 1 point off top spot upsetting the balance in the league by gate-crashing the so called big 4 party along with 2nd placed Bracknell Hornets.
