Good to see that stadium the nynex, 17000 seats wowzer... great playoff game end to end and a winner from Ivan with less than 30 seconds to go. Great to see the black line once again, what a star studded team we had then, likes of Noble, Evans, Ware, Hope, Sacratini, Hodge and Thornton. and was strange to see our ex leader Lawless on the storm bench.

For the life of me couldnt remember that tournament, 1992 wow...remember the new boys trent anderson and brad gratton, good final and a win v panthers, and wow did ian cooper took a pasting from Rhodes from nottingham, deserved though after coops started it with a sucker punch

I was there, great times, if my memory serves me well our club won £10,000 for winning the tournament which was the prize money.

I don’t watch these normally tbh but glad that I did take this one in.
My memory isn’t the greatest but I vividly remember the Cadieux ‘strut’
Seeing it again brought goosebumps!!!
I was gutted we only saw him for that season as he was a favourite of mine

Typical devils v blaze game rough and tumble for 60 mins, and wow what a ko punch in that fight by symonds on cooke of blaze..great game to watch for the neutrals as well.

I knew little about the devils before 2008 so this thread is fantastic for fans like me.

To be honest, as good as I think he was, quoting his stats are only a reflection of the era and at a guess there were no doubt a few above him in scoring.
