Of course the Devils will be underdogs. Lets be fair, the Panthers are the better side, yes we can beat them, but the home tie will be crucial. Anything less than a 2 goal lead and its curtains IMO.
Suits us though, especially if the home leg is first. If the Guys can do the same thing as against Belfast - try to get as many goals at home as poss - and then play safe and solid away, they have to be in with a good chance. :D

Here's a chance to put down a real marker for the first leg of the CC at home but the Devils play Panthers at NIC the night before in a league match  What would a 5-0 drubbing away like last time do for the Devils' motivation?

Depends if we are sacrificing the 2 points making deliberate mistakes so we can then exploit the complacency the following night.

That's true - perhaps they could lull the Panthers in to thinking they have got the Devils' number, get Nottm confused and exhausted and our Guys could come out refreshed and on fire for the CC at home. Sounds like a plan. But are the Panthers going to stretch themselves going for those League points and the CC.....you bet they are! They probably won't even break sweat!
