Only really noticed him playing the once, and that was in the play-off semi-final, and he looked like the worst player out there, but impossible to judge a player on a single performance.

Yeah Luka didn't have a very good semi-final for us and that was down to the way that Belfast played him.
Every time he got the puck there were two Giants players on him to take away his space so that he couldn't use his skill.

On his night Luckacevic is one of the most highly skilled players in this league and is an absolute joy to watch.
He is one of the players from Flyers that could easily have gone anywhere.

Absolutely delighted that he is back in Gold, White and Blue though

Weaver not returning for the Panties. Guaranteed panthers will be sniffing around Richardson from us to replace him...

"In turn, the Nottingham Panthers wish him well too. Jon Weaver was a class act on and off the ice. He played in every game for the club last season, one of only two players to do so, and he became the Ryan Giggs of British ice hockey."

What an embarrassing comparison

And has joined Telford... Will he be back in the EIHL with them soon?

Neither of these are major "OMG" signings, the D man's points appear decent, and he was the top scoring D in the league last year, however the Netherlands league is certainly a level under ours, there's a number of ex-EIHL D men in the top D scorers that struggled for points when over here, so best to reserve judgement until we've seen him play.

Not too sure about the forward, but that's one hell of a name to fit on the back of a jersey.

Wow, consistency at this level is rare. Belfast will just hit the ground (or should that be ice?!) running (skating?!) this season. I can't see anyone stopping them. How jealous am I...it must be so nice to support such a professional organisation :DWD

Indeed, and just look at the position they were in last season with regards to the below link:
http://prohockeynews.com/its-still-my-t ... nts-owner/

the entire status of the club in jeopardy, a club with 0 players registered (MID SEASON!) yet they didn't even skip a game, and not even a ripple was made across UK hockey.

As you said, must be great supporting an organisation that acts professionally.
