It’s unfortunate with the problems caused by Covid. We play all those group games to eliminate one team but then can’t fit a two legged semi final into the schedule. I hope we get a share of the ticket sales though!

I like the one legged semi (sounds like a sex act) as I think we can compete with anyone in a winner takes all. We can definitely upset Sheffield.

I feel we'd take them over two legs, but one leg at their place will be nervy.

Who wouldn't look comfortable after that performance? ;-) Seriously though, we now look like a team with all the pieces, and we still have McNally to come back.

A classic comeback. Well done. I do remember another CC final stages game a few seasons ago when Sheffield thought they had it sewn up vs Devils in the first leg. In the return 2nd leg at the IAW the Devils had a huge challenge to overturn that goal difference. But that night the crowd believed it could be done, the Team believed.. and it happened.

This Devils' team is playing with unity, belief and confidence now. Away at Sheffield? It could happen again.

I still think Sheffield will go through a bad patch of results before the season's up. When we were due to play the 2nd leg a month ago I dont think anybody would have expected us to win 6-1. So in another month's time who knows on what run of form Sheffield and us will be on.
