Final run in

After being robbed last night and results going against us (shockingly so SheVHull) it's safe to say this just isn't our year (or 'our time').

99-00 was equally as bad on the ice just without the drama off it, at least we didn't know about. And then there was THAT season, but that doesn't count!

Carnage? 8 goals scored against the Caps and no major incident is hardly carnage - more like a normal day at the office.

We're actually still 8th on regulation wins.

Hull will do well to pick up a Win between now and the end of the season, they definitely have the toughest run in (especially with G' out to prove himself)! ...................................
Hull 5 Steelers 1 !!!!!!
Has G just proved himself?

Bigger Carnage in Cardiff mate, can it get worse.
Yer we could get a price hike of 50quid after having a god awful season for the pleasure of seeing more crap hockey potentially? O no... thats happened already.

Not suprised by any of tonight's results. These teams are fighting tooth and nail to secure a playoff position and with it revenue for their club in a quarter final game.

Let's hope our team are as inspired to actually get the result they desperately need tomorrow night. It REALLY is squeaky bum time now. Talked about it weeks ago but it's finally arrived.

Let's see if the Devils can show what they are made of.

First off

Iv been one of the most positive as most know but this is a bridge to far for me. I almost feel like reality has been lost. 450 quid after this season? To watch hockey on the worst venue in the league? Only two years ago it was 350 (I know it was for less games but its affordable). Now we are being forced in 100 pounds more of commitment? Totally blarzay IMO to think people can afford to keep doing this. I LOVE hockey but this season has tainted that love. I feel more sorry for families who will have to find even more. I honestly feel a boycott of 50/50 or another revenue spinner is needed. Means we can still watch hockey but they lose another revenue stream.

In conclusion - crap season + crap venue + huge price hike - enjoyment = pissed of season ticket holders

I think Cardiff will drop to 9th after tonight as Fife have 1 more regulation win.

This weekend has to be our chance... A 4pt weekend has to be the target with a minimum of 3pts! Hull clearly have a bit of fight left in them but they have tough games against Dundee, followed by Sheffield! Fife have to play Belfast followed by Dundee and Coventry have a big game against Nottingham.

It seems Dundee could play a big part in whether or not we make the Playoffs as I see them as the crucial games for our nearest rivals! Come on Devils you can do it, I'm still holding out for 7th too...

Isn't that a different criteria than when Sheffield beat us to the league title? I seem to remember if it were head to head games we'd have won the league. It was a long time ago and I have slept since then.
