He went off with a minute to go againt Nottingham holding what appeared to me holding his arm, i'm guessing his pectoral tear from the early season has returned.

And I was wondering on Wednesday whether he was actually that hurt or whether he was just fed up that we had lost and gone straight to the dressing room. Sorry Smithy! Hope he's not out for too long. At least we won't really miss him too much tomorrow, as its not that important. Although I would like us to win it!!

Thats obviously the real reason but the excuse they've come up with from the match report is "Top line centre Mark Smith was out of action with a slight knock. He was advised to rest this weekend in order to be fully fit for duty next week when the Belfast Giants come to Cardiff for the first time this season on Sunday 11th."
