Well now Hervato is not returning time to start looking for another Euro passport holder. I'd like another bigger guy if we can get one along with a heavyweight

Sean Bentivoglio still rumoured to the Devils, he's a Euro who's speedy and is supposedly great on the Forecheck with good offensive ability... Although I'm gutted to see Hervato go he could be a decent replacement, having said that he'd warrant playing on a higher line than the fourth!

If the dual national pool of players is small at this stage of the off season, time to scour the bonafide European players. Some very good players in our league last season - Kolnik, Kurka, Wiikman, Vestberg, Valcak - there will be some excellent ones out there still waiting for a club that fits.

Sheffield and Dundee in particular have successfully recruited good Scandanavian players.

European, size and stability, vast experience.....and would be eligible for university package.

Doucet was confirmed weeks ago... It's 3 Forwards and 1 D'man left to Sign with 2 needing to be EU!
We will have 6 D'men for 3 Pairings!

So McIver is an interesting one? Jeff Ulmer a definite by the sounds of it - even tomorrow? And then there's Bentivoglio another cert? So one more EU holder to replace Hervato now?

Personally, I would hope that Lord has recruited players that can overtake him in the lineup so that he can drop down the lines - eases the pressure of being on the BIG line and gives him more opportunity to provide in-game coaching.

I still really hope we sign Ben Davies. He would be a good replacement for Hervato, plus, I don't Jones is quite ready for regular line shifts.

We'd have Jones and Piggott as 13th and 14th forwards.

Jones is 25 years old and was a regular penalty killer last year. To be blunt, if he isn't ready for a 4th line spot now then i don't think he ever will be.
